Personality Exile is an oddity within the drow world. Not one to hold any of his life private or secret, he speaks the truth, though when needed he does so in a way that best suites him. A loyalist to both Lolth and Sintesse, after everything Sin and Exile had experienced together, there is not a doubt within his thoughts that Sintesse, given all the chaos that surrounds her, is indeed in the favor of Lolth. He has a very devil may care attitude and plays his moves smart. No reason to be sloppy despite his care free attitude. Exile's greatest weakness is sex, which Sintesse seems more than willing to give him in abundance. Always looking for the next big adventure and good time, Exile is perhaps one of the most powerful pawns a drowess could ever hope for.

Background: His mother and father were both commoners, simple guards in a service to a house. His mother was cast out for being useless in her state and eventually gave birth to Vy'tril Lockue. After done, he threw the child away to a bugbear woman to raise him until he was suitable for hard labor. As soon as he was old enough, Vy was indeed but into work until their little black market ring came crashing down and the bugbear caretaker killed in a rival conflict. Vy had never known his parents so took to the streets as a common thief to survive. Once there, Vy found that he was capable of, what the a wizard had called it, a Hex. Vy was able to curse another and weaken them to make them easier prey for fights and targets. Eventually he picked the wrong target, a female whom he didn't recognize as a high priestess to Lolth. Captured, he was taken back to be tortured for his crimes, which he was. However, when the time came for her to kill the male, she had cast a death spell on him ... a spell that somehow had no affect on the boy. Confused, she had tried again but found once again it did not take. Intrigued, she looked into what this male was capable of. She knew she could end his life with her sword but she saw an opportunity for power in this creature.

She had divine casters look into the boy and found he had been cursed since birth with the skill of the Hex, which also gave them amazing mental and body resistances against spells. Amazing! Oh, he would indeed be the perfect creature to train in her way. For not only was she a priestess, but she was a dreaded Occult Slayer, the bane of all casters both divine and arcane. How wonderful it would be to have another pawn to use. It would be dangerous teaching the male such a powerful technique, but the rewards outweighed the caution. And so Vy was trained in the arts of a spell slayer. As well, he was raised to respect and revere Lolth, which, for a male, he strangely took to with a passion. He knew and admitted he was a lesser to the females and likewise swore loyalty to Lolth in anything she would wish.

... this would be the teacher's own undoing as eventually she fell from Lolth's favor and Vy himself carried out the execution. But him being a male and trained in such ways that he could destroy most all of Lolth's clerics, he was exiled from Ched Nasad out of fear. So he wandered the Underdark for some time. Thousands of miles he covered, coming to a few cities and taking on assassination jobs against any caster for some gold. Eventually he came across Undrek' Thoz and was hired in as a bodyguard to Sintesse by Sin's own mother, to keep her protected against assassination. However, Sin's mother had been told Exile's story, for he seemed somewhat oddly willing to share it. He didn't seem to hide anything ... how strange. Still, she simply started calling him “The Exile” for his exiled state. Unlike those in Ched Nasad, she was not afraid. She would use this exile for the power he held ... he would be a pawn.

Except everything went wrong for that house. And so he has now become Sintesse's pawn, a job he takes to without complaint and without the thoughts of backstabbing. He is loyal to Sintesse above anyone, save perhaps for Lolth herself. One of the most powerful pawns someone could possibly control given what he was skilled at most. Given a sword by Sin's matron mother known in the surface tongue as Grudge, Vy has taken upon the mantle of Exile willingly and lives to serve ... and to slay.

Abilities:

Exile has not only the ability to avoid damage from fireballs and such through evasive maneuver, but his mind and body are equally fortified from magical attacks outside of his natural drow spell resistance. Trying to get a spell to stick and affect Exile is perhaps one of the greatest challenges any spellcaster could be forced to do. Aside from that, he also has an uncanny skill at demolishing spellcasters with his magebane corrosive greatsword and his own training as an Occult Slayer. The adamantine on his greatsword likewise serves to cut through spells such as stone skin and he can even bounce spells back at their casters, able to identify them with the ease of any archmage.
