First off, I guess I should say thanks to all the players on the forum, especially those taking part in the Kentra thread. It's been a real blast and I hope everyone is having fun. I would like to eventually expand on the Guest character page, making an entire section for just that campaign and the characters, but we'll see if I feel that ambitious! It would have easy access to all character sheets, maps, and character bios and pics, not to mention any other useful information I can think of to add. Lemme know what you guys think of that, ok? |
There is a new thread opened. I don't know YET if I will be accepting new players, but I should say some things about it first. It is the "Where Gods Walk" campaign, and though D&D based, it is very rule light. As DM, I will take liberties with certain things, (though nothing too serious..my goal isn't to kill character, but to tell a story, and to have fun) I don't always work things entirely within the rules of D&D-- (example, in an old campaign of mine, Sabal managed to place a magical collar around Xytres' neck that could send a shock of electricity through his body. This was done with needles that went from the collar into his throat--no saving throw-- it didn't kill him, damage wasn't permanent, and it was for the story.) IF I open this campaign up, those playing would have to understand the world they are in currently is my own creation, and even if I eventually move it to Faerun, you will have to understand, I am going to tell my story by any means necessary and that means I won't get bogged down with rules. It's rule light,. but RP rich!
Heh, that was lame! |
